The use of essential oils, extracts, and all parts of various plants and trees is an ancient practice for healing and easing ailments. Even the drinking of certain kinds of teas provide well established medicinal benefits that our bodies are made to work with. Many people find better results with the use of more natural, less processed medicines in their simple forms. Birch essential oil specifically packs a serious punch and has have a cortisone-like quality due to the natural chemicals found within it. Though it is not always easily found, birth oil comes from the bark of the birch tree and is relatively inexpensive. Just a few drops in a healing salve or other lotion is reported to have great results, especially when used continuously. According to the author’s husband, even after just a few days, he noticed an improvement. Before, his hands would get so bad, he couldn’t even use them!
