This DIY project has to be by far the easiest and most clever way to build canned storage! If you have been looking for a way to store your canned food that takes up less space than just putting them on a shelf you have found the right website.
Being prepared is so much more than having thousands of rounds of ammo stockpiled. Food storage is a problem in pretty much every preppers house. There is never enough space.
With just a piece of plywood and some 1x3s and some 1x2s, Some L brackets and lots of screws you can build your very own canned food storage with out spending a fortune.
We have 4 of these storage racks in our basement furnace room and my wife and I love them. I built them in one afternoon for the cost of a cup of coffee.
If you can get your hands on heat treated pallets you can make this project for free, well unless you want to count the cost of the electricity it takes to screw in the screws. I found 4 pallets on craigslist going for free so I called the man and went to get them as soon as I could. Pallets are fast becoming harder to get hold of because the wood is so valuable for projects like this one.
See how to build this awesome project in the link below and be sure to send us your photos if you make one, we would love to see them 🙂
